We are conveniently located on the corner between the U.S. Post Office on Chestnut Street and the courthouse on Franklin Square/Elm Street.
DIRECTIONS:
From I-84 West, take exit 39A for CT 9 S toward New Britain. Follow 9 South until you reach the left lane exit 36A for Chestnut St. Turn right onto Chestnut St. Go past the Post Office and turn left onto Liberty Square.
From I-84 East, take exit 35/CT 72 E. Then take exit 1C/CT 72. Follow CT 72 and then turn right onto Elm St./Harry Truman Overpass. In 0.4 miles, Liberty Square will be on the left.
From 9 North, take exit 36/Downtown New Britain and then a slight right onto Columbus Blvd. Take a left onto Chestnut St. and then a left onto Elm St. Liberty Sq. will be on the left.
Our regular office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 4:30 pm. Our office is closed daily for lunch from 12 noon – 1 pm.
We are closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Central CT Neurosurgery & Spine, and they will contact us.
If you have an urgent medical need and need to talk to our providers after our regular hours, please call our office at (860) 225-1227 and your call will be forwarded to our answering service.
At Central CT Neurosurgery & Spine, we accept most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company, or you may call our office at (860) 225-1227 to find out if we accept your plan.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

If your insurance is an HMO/managed care plan and you are required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, the referral must be obtained before you can be seen for an office visit.
Please coordinate this with your primary care physician in advance. Appointments will be rescheduled if required referrals are not received in the office by the time of your visit.
The providers at Central CT Neurosurgery & Spine have hospital or surgery center affiliations with the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain and the Connecticut Surgery Center in Farmington.
Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Central CT Neurosurgery & Spine are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You can make your request by calling our office at (860) 225-1227. Please note that we require 48 hours notice to order your prescription or refill.
Refills are generally not issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as our providers may not have access to all your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
