Here is some helpful information to make your visit to our office as efficient and useful as possible.
Appointments
Patients of Central CT Neurosurgery & Spine are seen by appointment only. Please call (860) 225-1227 to schedule an appointment. Normally, appointments are made via physician referral except in cases where the patient is seeking a second opinion or has known neurosurgical problems.
What to bring to your appointment
- Your insurance card
- Any MRI or CT (the actual films or DVD)
- A list of your current medications
- Your referring doctor’s address, phone, and fax number
- The referral, if required by your insurance
We accept most major insurance plans. Please have your insurance card and co-pay available at the time of your visit. If you need assistance with the billing of your primary insurance, we will gladly help you.
Authorizations
As a patient, you are responsible for ensuring that a service is covered on your insurance plan. Please contact your insurance company to determine this before making an appointment.
Confidentiality
In accordance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations, we keep all patients' medical records strictly confidential. The records can only be released with your written authorization. We cannot discuss your medical condition and care with anyone except those who are authorized.
